PLEASE READ THE ENTIRE DIRECTIONS BELOW BEFORE INSTALLING THE SOFTWARE.
Failure to follow the directions EXACTLY as below, IN THE PROPER ORDER, will result in the software not working. You will then need to remove the software from your computer and start from the beginning,

Hello Parent,

    The following will help you install the software necessary to view the webcams at Bright Beginnings.  Please know that a user name and password are necessary to view the webcams.  We ask that you please keep this information confidential, as you would your bank ATM pin code.

 

 

    First, download the software by clicking HERE.  This will open a window that asks you “Enter name of file to save to...”  Click on the “Save in” drop-down box and choose “My Documents”  Then click on “Save”

    A progress bar will appear and the file will be saved in the “My Documents” folder on your desktop.

    Once the download is completed, you can either click on the “Show File Location” button or close the window and double click on “My Documents”

    In “My Documents”, look for the file named RemoteManager_v6.8.1.0608.exe.  Double click on that file. A Winzip Self Extractor window will open.  Where it says “Unzip to folder” click on “Browse” and once again choose “My Documents”. Then click on “Unzip”. It should say “10 files unzipped”

    Once again open the “My Documents” folder (you can always get to it by double clicking on it from your Windows desktop.). Look for the yellow FOLDER (could be at the bottom - or not) named “v6.8.1.0608”  Double click on it and then double click on the folder named “Disk1”

    Now.. finally... to install the software, double click on the file named “Setup.exe”

    Follow the on screen instructions to install the software.


Once the software is installed you can run it by double clicking in the “DigiOpG2 Remote Manager” icon on your Windows desktop.

The first time the program runs it will ask you to create an administrator password. This password is different from your webcam password issued by Bright Beginnings.  It is there on your computer to keep unauthorized access to the program on YOUR PC. So even though the program is on your computer... it can NOT be run without the password you will now assign.  Please remember this password as there is no way to retrieve after. You would need to reinstall the software.

Now that the program is running, you are very close to being done. Click on the connect button. That is the white lightening bolt at the top center of the window.

A “Site/File Open” window will. appear. While in the Remote Tab, click on the “Enable” check box on the upper right.

Click on the “Add” button and a “New Open (new)” window appears.

In “Site Name “ type “Bright Beginnings”.

For Server IP, type “66.97.14.144”

For User ID and password: enter the information supplied by Bright Beginnings.

For Channel:
This is info for the cameras you wish to view. We ask you to please limit viewing to four cameras.  If there are too many cameras being viewed by too many people at the same time, it will slow down the system.

The format for the camera viewing is 1,2,3,4.  So, for example, to view the parking lot cam, the foyer cam, the Dolphin’s classroom and the upstairs gym... enter 8,1,2,7

This info can be changed at any time by re-enabeling the check box, clicking on “Properties” while highlighting the site in the “Site/File Open” box

Now, after entering your channels, click on “OK”

In the “Site/File Open” window, make sure that “Bright Beginnings” is highlighted and click on “OK”.

Please give time for the cameras to load.

NOTE: Feel free to play with the program to see what features are operative (you can’t really mess anything up.) Many features, like pan and and zoom, on this program to not operate on our type of cameras. Experiment and see what you get.
