John and Abigal Adams: Love and Liberty

Joint portrait of the patriots who played a pivotal role in the Revolution. John's passion and eloquence convinced the colonists to fight the British, while Abigail supported John's efforts from the home front. Their life together remains one of America's most enduring love stories.

For this Biography, AVATAR Productions was specifically chosen to videotape an interview with President George Bush.

It’s not often that someone get a “one on one” interview with a former leader of the free world.  More rare is an invitation to the Bush Compound in Kennebunkport.

After our interview Mr. Bush asked: “So now that I'm retired, I have a lot of free time on my hands.  I was thinking.. why not take on a part time
job?  Is it hard to work one of those things?"

NOT TRUE  Actually, President Bush wanted to view a tape he had recorded earlier in the week.  The only way to see playback in the bright sun was to look at it in the  viewfinder of our camera.  We were happy to oblige and played the tape for him.

After viewing the tape, Mr. Bush asked if we would mind recording something for him (he didn't like what he had viewed).  Of course.. we did it!  Like we're going to say NO to A President of the United States!?  Besides... it makes for this great photo!
